As anyone worth their weight in 90s Vogue back issues can attest, cult beauty products have the power to establish a need or a desire in all of us that cannot be ignored.

And we all know what they are. They’ve been mentioned by every make-up artist, celebrity, and Jo Blow we know; to the point that our friends – who don’t even know anything about beauty – are talking about them.

And usually, you can bet your bottom dollar they work. The shampoo Caroline de Maigret swears by (FYI, L’Oréal Elvive)? It works. The French moisturiser Scarlett Johansson religiously uses (FYI, Embryolisse), it works. The mascara Gigi Hadid uses every day (FYI, Diorshow Iconic Overcurl mascara), it works.

You get the drift, when they’re part of the vernacular, they’re usually part of our beauty cabinets.

So when we starting hearing about Sunday Riley a few years ago, our ears pricked up. We knew that everyone was talking about it; Julianne Moore, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Stella McCartney, Gwenyth Paltrow, Victoria Beckham…even the models backstage at Stella McCartney were having it applied for a  pre-show glow.

It’s the brand started by Sunday Riley herself, a chemist that believed in the power of effective natural and botanical based products (that worked).

And first up on our list to try? Juno Hydroactive Cellular Face Oil, because we’d heard great things.

Basically, it’s the serum you want when you’re seeing the first signs of ageing. It could be you’re seeing fine lines pop up, your skin texture feels different (not in a good way), or you might just feel like your skin is super dull and needs a boost.

Juno is your answer. It’s a dry oil, so it soaks into the skin instantly and it’s packed with all the good stuff; super oils, vitamin C and omegas. It’s also super nourishing, super hydrating, super powerful and best of all? Super natural. Essential for good skin.

We saw results almost immediately – we applied this in the morning before our moisturiser and then added a drop to our foundation for a bit of extra glow. You feel it working it’s magic instantly.

Then again at night, same deal, we use this before our retinol and moisturiser. The result? Better skin. And not in a subtle way. Our new go-to if you want to glow like the models backstage at McCartney.

Get it here.
