I’m a self-professed morning cleanser kind of girl. I’m also a non-negotiable shower twice a day kind of girl. I know some people think washing your face in the morning is a bit redundant, like, how dirty can your skin get overnight? But my skin always looks clearer, brighter and fresher because of it.

My evening routine is pretty much identical; cleanse, serum, moisturise but I always add the step of a chemical exfoliant. I’ve learnt over the years that my skin is lazier than I am, so if I miss this step it’s hello congestion and goodbye even skin.

Recently, though, I started feeling like my morning routine wasn’t working as hard for me. I noticed that my skin needed an extra kick, and I didn’t feel like I was getting the same level of results as I did after using my chemical exfoliator at night.

Enter Nip and Fab’s Glycolic Pads. I had heard great things; Jess Hart, Kylie Jenner and Emily Ratajkowski (among others) all swear by these guys so I was willing to give it a go. Also if this is the answer to skin like Emily Ratajkowski, then I’m dropping everything to buy it (soz…sad but true).

These contain glycolic acid, hyaluronic acid, and blue daisy which means they’re going to gently exfoliate the skin but also sooth and moisturise. The exfoliator jackpot, as far as I’m concerned.

These are also the answer to hormonal breakouts. You know those big hard, painful under the skin ones that appear monthly? This is what you want to reach for first. Also, cheeky tip, I’ve found these guys are great for preventing ingrown hairs, so you can use on other areas (if you get my drift).

Get them here.

*Note – Don’t forget to apply your SPF if you use these in the morning. Your skin is more sensitive and prone to hyper-pigmentation when you’re using these.
