Let’s be real, foundation is like the Balenciaga City bag of the beauty game – there’s way too many shades and textures to choose from, and they just keep getting better and better (or sound like it at least).

We mean, we should know, we probably see at least three new ones arrive on our desks every week (spoilt? Us? Maybe).

But, to be honest, even though we’ve tried it all, we rarely discover our new holy grail, but that’s exactly what we’ve found in YSL’s Fusion Ink Foundation.

This stuff is a total game-changer. We’ve never used anything like it. It actually stays-put for as long as you want it to, but feels like you’re wearing N O T H I N G (if you’ve ever tried a longwear foundation, you’d know that’s called #winning).

It’s so lightweight, but it has the coverage of something heavier. It completely smooths-out your skin tone but gives it a kind of translucent, velvet-like finish (read: never cakey).

Our model Gemma was clearly blessed with beautiful skin (damn those good genes), but even the smallest bit of this foundation made it #nextlevs.
