Ok, so if there is one thing that’s true about the summer holiday it is that its all about low maintenance. That means less time on a beauty regime and more time spent drinking rooftop mimosas in our humble opinion.

But since it’s not totes appropes to rock up to the New Years Eve party with dripping wet hair and a now-translucent, silk Chloé blouse (it’s a celebration, not a wet t-shirt competition, guys), we looked for an easy hair style that would look effortless but still on point à la Cara Delevingne on the cover of German mag Lush or Ashley Olsen dipping out of her NY loft for the day.

And when we saw the all-day wet-look hair thing dominating the SS 16 runways, we were all, “Uh…yeah!”; Kenzo rocked the wet waves as did Missoni and the Burberry girls while David Koma and Julien Macdonald worked the sweat-sesh look which left us with the intense desire to do a spin class. But that passed pretty quick.

So, how to achieve it without having to dunk your head in the bathroom sink every twenty minutes?

Trust us, it’s as easy to do as that 4th mimosa.
