Hey, I’m Annachiara, aka Auna. I’m 20 years old and living in San Francisco. I’m a full-time student studying media studies, specifically journalism and audio production. But, three days out of the week I’m an assistant jewellery and vintage buyer for a boutique here in the city! I’m my happiest when I’m creating any type of fashion media or searching for new things for the shop. My obsession with beauty and skincare started at 13 years old, and its been full-force since then! I have combination skin. My struggles haven’t really been with acne, but more so with facial eczema, discoloration, and hyperpigmentation. My skincare and makeup routine is pretty no-nonsense, but I love trying out new things. I love a good high-low mix of products, too. Nothing’s better after a long day of emails and schoolwork than putting on a nice jazz record and practicing self-care!

1

Biologique Recherche P50 PIGM400

This is my secret weapon. I was intimidated at first to try P50 after hearing how horrible it smelled and of its super strong ingredients, but honestly its not that bad. In fact, I probably won’t ever stop using it. I use it only two times a week at night– anything more is too much for my skin. After cleansing and spritzing rose water on my face, I put this on a cotton pad and dab all over (especially on my cheeks and around my mouth/chin area) and follow with my moisturizer. I swear I wake up bright, glowy, and exfoliated. I never fail to do a double take in the mirror. Tip: apply lip balm before you put it on– it’ll protect your lips from being super dry in the morning!

2

Marc Jacobs Highliner in Ro (Cocoa)

My signature look is a cat-eye. I’ve just been wearing it since my freshman year of high-school, so I can’t imagine not doing it. Usually I’ll use the Stila Stay All-Day Liquid Liner in black, but I’ve been wanting something more casual and less bold lately. This Marc Jacobs eyeliner in Ro(Cocoa) is the prettiest shade of metallic light brown that still gives me the cat-eye effect I want without it being too brash. It doesn’t budge and stays just as pigmented as when applied during application even after my 12-hour school days.

3

Grandelash

My lashes are dark and full, but lack length. I found Grandelash after researching a product that would produce results without having to spend an arm and a leg. I also didn’t want to resort to lash extensions, since I really like using waterproof eye makeup. It’s one of the best $65 I’ve ever spent. The tube lasts forever, and I can definitely tell that my lashes have grown since I started using last summer.

4

Glossier Boy Brow

This is the only brow product I use and I don’t think it’ll ever change. As you probably know, this stuff works wonders. Its truly a game-changer and a time-saver in the morning. A couple of quick swipes and the brows are done. They instantly look fuller, fluffier, and groomed.

5

Dior Lip Glos (Berry)

I always have a tinted lip balm or lipstick in my bag, and Dior Lip Glow in Berry has been killing it for me lately. It gives a nice sheer color to my lips while moisturizing. It’s essential for me to always have a lip color on because it completes the whole look. I also really love the packaging– it’s just super chic!
