It’s super dark and creamy when applying but doesn’t seem to clump or flake or smudge throughout the day…it’s also pretty dramatic without looking overdone. The waterproof version is nowhere near as good though”

I would choose La Roche Posay for the price point and the effect I can achieve with it because it is gentle on my sensitive eyes. I have long but very fair and straight lashes (natural redhead) and it gives me a nice defined (but not unnatural) look and the little bit of curl my lashes need :)”
