Sorry to break it to you, but you’ll have to wait a while to get your hands on Céline’s new roll-top clutch, or save your lunch money for a year before you can nab yourself the new Balenciaga pearl earrings. But what you can have right now is the finer details from the Fall ’15 runways – we’re talking the hair, the nails and the make-up.
And with our friends in high places (like Guido Palau for Redken at Marc Jacobs and Essie on the nails at Proenza Schouler), we figured, why wait? We want it all, and we want it now.
So we took it upon ourselves to get the inside scoop on what they used backstage to make the models look so damn good (because they don’t actually turn up looking like that right?). We can even tell you the exact shade they used on the model’s nails at Alexander Wang, and how they got the hair so good at Zac Posen, because we stopped at nothing.

Mix these two shades together and you have yourself Proenza-approved nails.
The dark grey shade they make is too good, but we’re also obsessed with both of these colours on their own – ‘Allure‘ the creamy shade is our new winter white.
But if the matte creamy taupe shade at Alexander Wang was more your thing, get your hands on ‘Jazz’ and Essie’s ‘Matte About You’ topcoat.
We were all about the wet-look locks at Marc by Marc Jacobs, but how you actually get that just-jumped-out-of-the-shower look to stay had us beat.
Turns out, all you need is REDKEN Full Effect 04 – Guido Palau literally just saturated the models’ hair with it and scrunched his hands through the ends.
Yep, we’ll be trying that one.
It was all about the brows at Chanel.
There were a few variations, but this tri-tone brow palette means you can mix and match the shades to make your brows as full-on or natural as you like.
Now all you need to do is choose your #inspo – was it Cara or Kendall?
This colour correcting concealer palette is a staple in MAC make-up artist’s kits.
They used it to camouflage redness, under eye darkness and blemishes backstage at Prabal Gurung, Chloé, Giambattista Valli and more.
The undone ponytail at BCBG was all thanks to this guy – TRESemmé’s Perfectly (un)Done Ultra Brushable hairspray.
Simply spritz a bit of sea salt spray through your ends, tie it up in a loose ponytail, rough it up a bit and finish with a bit of this.
Tip: gently brushing your hair after you’ve sprayed this in will help to nail that ultra-dishevelled look.
Here’s a mouthful for you – ‘boho Brit It girl’… but that was exactly the hair reference at Matthew Williamson. Think Bridgette Bardot. Think Kate Moss. It’s all about volume, but in an ‘undone’ kind of way.
All you need is a bit of this through the roots. Boom.
A super-sleek side part in the front and undone waves at the back – yeah, we guess you could say we liked the hair at Zac Posen.
To do it, get some texture going on in your hair, then comb Moroccanoil’s Styling Gel through roots to slick the hair back on top.
Tip: Moroccanoil’s stylist worked in sections to make it stay put.
