4 Different Mascaras For 4 Different Looks
We go through mascaras like crazy. Each one brings a different kind of pleasure and we genuinely like to try out different ones.
And because we’re not big on the full face of make-up thing, we like to keep it bare everywhere else and really play with the lashes. Mostly, we clump on layers and layers of mascara (because, #twiggy) and we love it.
But guys, there are so many mascaras out there; some are BOOM BOOM POW, others are all flutter flutter, and then you get your #iwokeuplikethis vibe. So we thought we would round up our top four on high rotation, each one giving us four very different effects.

Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Mascara is our go to for major clump lashes. Looks and feels literally like black velvet. The thick, slightly glossy formula builds classic spider lashes, but in a really plush way. Not for the faint hearted, but we like to layer this about 6 times.
When we want to create long, bold jet black lashes MAC Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash is our go to. We only need to apply two coats to build a super long and separated look, that’s defined and all sorts of amazing.
Meet Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara. If you want subtle this is your guy.Sure, it’s a bottom lash mascara, but we’ve discovered it works just as well for creating a supernatural look all over. The mini brush is perfect for creating subtle definition by reaching those baby lashes your bigger mascaras always miss.
Not something that we normally like to admit, but sometimes black can feel a little too monochrome for our liking, and sometimes nothing frames the face better than a bit of brown mascara (and of course, there’s no better accessory than Chanel). The Le Volume De Chanel in Ecorces gives you length and volume but the brown is going to dial it down ever so slightly.
