Make-up:

“I don’t like heavy makeup, so for light coverage I use Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet and apply it with a Chanel makeup brush. It’s light and it matches my skin colour perfectly, contains an SPF and blends into my skin so you can’t tell I’m wearing any makeup and you can build on it.

Then I use NARS The Multiple in Luxor as a highlighter cream on my nose, cupid’s bow and cheek bones for a radiant glow. Sometimes I’ll use it on my eyes for a night-time look.

Depending on the weather, if it’s quite a hot day, I’ll use the Mac Prep & Prime using a Mac 168 Large Angled Contour Brush because it sets the makeup really well. If my skin is already dry and it’s winter I won’t use it.

I have quite long curly brows, which can be hard to tame. Actually they’re so curly I looked up brow keratin the other day! I use Maybelline Brow Drama. It has a bit of colour to fill in gaps and I usually brush my brows up as they are so long but I do like to keep them full.

My favourite mascara is Maybelline Full ‘N Soft. I’ve been using it since I started wearing makeup and quite a few makeup artists use it. It’s waterproof, spreads the lashes really well, stays on and it just never changes – I love it. For day-to-day I only use a little to make my eyes look bigger then for events I’ll put more on.

I also use this mascara separator from Rae Morris. My eyelashes can get all twisted from being curly, so I use it to separate lashes after I’ve put on mascara. Or you can also apply the mascara on the applicator then brush it onto your eyelashes.”

Hair:

“My hair is really curly and can be really hard to maintain as it gets frizzy. I must’ve mentioned this or expressed the frustration to my boyfriend at one point, because I came home one day and he’d bought me a Turbie Twist hair towel. I twirl my hair up and go to sleep with it on then it dries really nicely into smoother but not quite straight hair.

I know it’s not good to wash your hair every single day, but if I’m working, I’ll need to wash out all of the product so it’s fresh for the next day’s shoot. I’ll use Aveda Damage Remedy Restructuring Shampoo and Aveda Damage Remedy Restructuring Treatment. The treatment is worth it because my hair gets so worked on jobs.

For blow-drying, I use Kerastase Resistance Ciment Thermique to protect my hair, but I do try to avoid blow-drying. Schwarzkopf BC Colour Freeze Gloss Serum is my favourite as it doesn’t make my hair too oily or weight it down. Sometimes I use a really small amount of Diamond Oil. Maybe I should be using my serum before putting on my Turbie Twist, but I use the serum depending if my hair is drying with frizz or with a smooth curl.”

Skin:

“I remove makeup with Bioderma Sensibio H2O which is awesome. I also use Dermalogica Skin Prep Scrub as it really works into your skin to remove any makeup that’s soaked into your skin. I’ve been using Environ Alpha Toner Forte for quite a long time, which is great when your skin becomes oily after wearing heavy makeup. Otherwise, in the mornings, I’ve been using one part Apple Cider Vinegar and three parts water as a toner, which helps with oil. I also love Dr Spiller Collagen Cream as a moisturiser in winter as it’s really thick and intensive.

I don’t use my makeup brushes every day but I do think it’s important to clean my brushes with Mac Brush Cleanser .”

Body:

On my feet I use Kora Organics by Miranda Kerr Rejuvenating Foot Balm at night after a shower then put socks on and it soaks in really well.

On my body I use Frank Body Scrub and Cetaphil Moisturising Lotion.”

Exercise:

“I used to be a long distance and sprint runner so I’m naturally quite muscular. I’ve now turned to long 12km walks. I am also loving the classic 80s 8-minute abs and 8-minute buns. I pull out the yoga mat and watch them on YouTube. It’s a good workout and very entertaining as they’re so funny.

Generally I am healthy. I recently became a vegetarian… Although I do eat fish, mostly salmon occasionally, so I’m pescatarian. After becoming sick on a trip in Istanbul, I decided not to eat meat for the rest of the time I was there… It’s really not difficult and I haven’t noticed any differences with my energy levels. I eat a lot of fruit and different vegetables as they’re nutrient and vitamin dense and I tend to avoid things like pasta. I also take Spirulina, which I find really helps with my skin and prevents breakouts.

Coconut Oil I use as a treatment in my hair overnight as it seals all the ends of my hair. I’ve also started oil pulling because it whitens your teeth and it’s amazing it can remove all the plaque on your teeth without brushing. I take a tablespoon of coconut oil and gently swirl it in my mouth for 20 minutes, then spit it out… you don’t swallow it because you’d be swallowing the bacteria. I swear my teeth are whiter and my teeth feel cleaner.”
