It’s not all premo, it’s basically a combo of NET-A-PORTER investment pieces meets the high street. We shop high and low, and our beauty cabinets are no different.

Is it a serum? A moisturiser? A makeup primer? Ding Ding: all three! Use it alone, underneath a moisturiser or as a base for your makeup, the effect is the same: plump, glowy skin. We weren’t convinced on paper either, but once we saw the skin-toned glistening cream light up our cheekbones, we were sold. Bless the French. Presenting the winner of THE FILE genius award for the week. We were always hardcore fans of this Aussie cult brand, but the second this little tube hit our desks, it was no longer just love, it was forever. It has all the heavenly smelling, epic moisture-locking properties of the classic but this time, kills 99.9 per cent of all germs.

Look, you probably don’t need us to tell you how cult status-y this French cleanser is. It’s a hard one to top. Why? You cleanse your skin without water. French women swear by it. And it’s a powerful makeup remover that leaves nothing on your skin. Just use a cotton pad, wipe and you’re done. Hello late night BFF.

Like synchronicity, this seemingly hit our desks just at the right time – during a discussion about how bad aluminium is (hint: really bad). This little bad boy has none of that but heaps of magnesium, so it’s a hectic detoxifier, helps build muscle, stay switched on, and sleep better….aaaand it’s also a BO neutraliser #winning.

We wish we’d been onto this sooner, like at the beginning of winter when our dry skin was freaking the eff out. But we’re here now and that’s all that counts. This stuff is….awesome. It doesn’t stick or shine, or for that matter, mark your silk Equipment shirts when you get dressed. If high quality, legit all natural good-for-you products are your jam, then this guy is your friend.
