Bluebell Penhaligans, 100ml ,£140

A quintessentially British fragrance from the 70’s, Penhaligon’s Bluebell has stood the test of time, and manages to capture devoted fans over generations. Offering a fragrant whirl of bluebells, this strong scent feels reminiscent, possibly of your grandmother’s powder room. The notes of hyacinth, and most obviously clove, deliver a very punchy old-school weightiness, maybe too strong for some. A pretty and nostalgic scent, with intensity – 1 spray is for sure enough! Beloved by many, including our forever favourite, Princess Diana. It’s a timeless addition to any perfume collection, and a beautiful bottle for any shelf. We are particularly here for the bottle.

 Augustinus Bader, The Sunscreen, SPF 50, 30mls, £105

Augustinus Bader’s foray into sun protection is as on point as expected. This mineral sunscreen not only shields against UVA and UVB rays but also incorporates the brand’s signature TFC8® technology to support skin renewal. Lightweight and hydrating, this merges the worlds of hard-working skin care with proper sun protection. The texture is silky and hydrating and in no way greasy or heavy. A perfect sunscreen at the beach or under make up!

Clé de Peau Beauté Pore Refining Mattifying Veil 35ml, £58

I was recently on a trip to Japan and obviously indulged largely in the Japanese beauty scene. They have some of the best skincare brands around, including my favourite Cle de Peau.  The shop assistant shared with me that this pore minimising primer is one of Cle De Peau’s most popular products across their entire range in Japan. Hailed for giving super smooth and flawless skin, I can confirm after using this for a couple of weeks – it’s true. Never one to use primer before, I am now an advocate. I love the silky feel as it glides on, and more to the point, how it smooths out any pores, fine lines or imperfections under my concealer or tint, a perfect base for under make-up. A new staple, filling the gaps (literally) in my beauty routine.

Chanel LES BEIGES Healthy Glow Sheer Colour Stick Blush, £42

Another luxurious offering from Chanel Beauty, this blush stick adds the perfect and subtle touch of colour with a luminous velvet finish to the cheekbones and face. Coming in 4 stunning and wearable colours – this blush is the perfect amount of something without being overly done. The shine factor on this is very good too – a summer night dream. Apply the stick directly to cheekbones, then blend in with fingertips, using circular movements. Smooth towards the temples to lift facial features or towards lips to make them look longer.

L’OCCITANE Immortelle Precious Cleansing Cream 200ml, £26

This oil cleanser is so nourishing and delicate, especially on the eye area. Applied directly to skin, and massaged into the face, this cleanser doubles as the most gentle make-up remover, wiping away mascara or khol – with zero sting. Wash off simply with water and a cloth, this makes cleansing exactly how it’s described here – precious. A forever classic that is totally beautiful and nurturing for all skin types.

Alpha-H Daily Dose Multivitamin Body Serum with Niacinamide, Vitamin C + Hyaluronic Acid 150ml, £28

A high-performance skincare serum, for your body. Powered by skin-enhancing ingredients 5% Niacinamide, Vitamins C+E, Hyaluronic Acid and Polyglutamic Acid,  this body care proves it is now as important to have result-driven ingredients for your body as it is your face. This moisturiser feels amazing on the skin, hydrating and serum-like, but not sticky at all! A little goes a long way. Using this I have for sure felt my skin softer and more supple, and have since tried more gems from the brand, because it really is that good.

Obagi Nu Derm Toner, £60

This alcohol-free toner from Obagi helps restore the skin’s natural pH balance whilst toning and tightening at the same time. Obagi is known for active ingredients and hard-working skincare, not often for the sensitive skin types. This toner though doesn’t feel too harsh or intense on the skin, making it a great choice for those with problematic skin. Recommended from a friend who suffers from breakouts, this toner manages to keep skin problems at bay, keeping pores tight and clean without drying the skin. I don’t suffer from breakouts but have been totally into how this has helped to tighten my skin, allowing for my next products to penetrate the skin without sitting in the pores.
