Fara Homidi Lip Pencil in Minky, £34

Almost an exact match for my natural lip colour, I use it to gently overline the lip for a subtle pout. The shades in this range are very true tone, not peachy or pinky – they’re more cool. Minky is specifically a true flesh lip colour – which means you can be very precise with it. This is the product I get through fastest from Fara’s entire range. I also really like wooden pencils as opposed to a gel liner, as you can get them so sharp.

Hourglass Blur Balm in Echo, £36

An incredibly comfortable matte lipstick that blurs and perfects in seconds. Straight from the bullet, no mirror required. It’s made me excited about doing my makeup. Whenever I thought about matte lipstick, like a Ruby Woo, i’d immediately think drying – but these are like cashmere =silky, weightless and give that mat look in a very editorial way. The texture is sort of blurry, so you don’t have to be precise with it. You can do it on the move – soft focused, blurred edges. Enigma & Echo are my go to colours.

Rouge Dior Lipstick, £41

The Dior matte lipsticks are delicious. This is an original true matte lipstick which is not trying to be a hybrid of any kind, or do to many things at once. A luxe lipstick with gorgeous pigments. The tones are quite warm, with a gorgeous selection of peachy nudes, great for summer.

Tatcha The Kissu Lip Mask, £27

I seem to be the last person to discover this. Rich, cushiony and deeply hydrating – a very lux lip treatment. In the pot it’s perfectly transparent, you almost don’t want to put your finger in because it looks so juicy and luxurious. It’s kind of like the Laneige lip balm, but for grownups.

Lisa Eldridge Lip Pencil in 0C, £21

I first discovered this through Dua Lipa’s makeup bag and immediately bought my own. It’s an excellent cool-toned nude. Clearly makeup artists make the best shade ranges! It’s really good for overlying and contouring your lip. It’s not about adding color with this, it’s about adding shape.

Violette_FR Lip Nectar in Rose de Moab, £30

A beautiful glossy stain that’s hydrating without being sticky. Rose de Moab is a gorgeous warm brown, glossy stain. It’s quite a unique texture because it looks glossy and feels gel textured, but has a longer wear and it doesn’t immediately come off or move. It’s a really nice diffused glass-like sheer wash of colour.

Glossier Generation G in Leo, £20

My ride-or-die lipstick. The perfect ’90s nude and one I have stashed in almost every handbag I own. Really sheer and very comfortable to wear – the more you apply, the more colour you get. It blurs fine lines and has like a lovely,  waxy matte finish, which I don’t think exists elsewhere. Leo is a really great brown. 

Lansinoh Nipple Balm, £12

Not glamorous, but unmatched. The only lip balm I’ve found that genuinely repairs very dry lips – obviously, I discovered it through breastfeeding and having really sore lips! This is the only thing that transforms your lips overnight.
