My first session was at Dr Karen Doherty Clinic, a clinic I always love visiting as not only are the treatments top class, but the interiors are absolutely worth the visit alone. The session consisted of a lot of questions from me, trying to compare it to other treatments and get an understanding of what exactly was going on here. ‘QMR Energy’ was the general consensus, which though didn’t completely satisfy my curiosity, the results have spoken for themselves.
The treatment itself was one of the most relaxing treatments I have had. In fact, I fell asleep in nearly every session. Maybe that says more about me than the treatment, but I’d give this treatment a strong 10/10 for relaxation and comfort, and to experience it at Dr Karen Doherty is a 10/10 for aesthetic pleasure.
After cleansing we got straight into the machine work which feels very much like a warm face massage. One of the hand pieces felt very similar to a warm stone massage.
I know we have heard it before, but here I can honestly say – I had an immediate glow and plumpness after the session, and the next day the results were obvious. Skin was giving vitality. As my sessions went on, I could feel my skin tone evening out, and my skin quality becoming more bouncy and calm. This really started to make sense as an inside-out treatment, and the results did in fact improve as the days went on.
When I was made aware the treatment was also offered at Le Petit Saint in Mayfair, a clinic I love that is all about luxury and advanced tech pamper, I was very keen to experience it. The integrity and expertise experienced from my practitioner Justyna made Le Petit Saint a standout. I also fell deep asleep here on a luxurious heated treatment bed in a delicious pink room, and when I woke up, my whole body felt rejuvenated, and my skin was noticeably alive.
Justyna explained that the treatment is based around preserving skin health. She reiterated that it’s accumulative and not instant, but the results are like nothing else. The level of care and focus she brought to the session was stunning. My main take away here (apart from the glow), was understanding the importance of restoring cell rejuvenation. This is biohacking in a facial.
