I love myself the most natural. I admire amazing make up and think it’s such a beautiful way to express yourself. But for myself I love a blush, a lip and sometimes black charcoal eyeliner. I like to see skin and texture and little redness, currently I’m falling in love with my dark under eye circles. I like to see a face that’s lived.
What does Beauty mean to you?
On Skincare
After I had a facial at QMS I was told to stop using harsh products so I follow a simple routine of in the morning of just a moisturizer and sunscreen, and in the evening double cleansing with a cleansing milk by QMS and then 2 x a week AHA BHA exfoliating by Skinworks. Sometimes I use a serum and then a moisturizer again and sometimes a healing clay mask. At the moment I’m in love with a moisturizer by RūMU BEAUTY a small queer skincare brand from Spain. I sometimes use a Gua Sha , I have one from Face Gym. I suffer from TMJ and it really helps me to lose up my jaw muscles.

On Haircare
I love the hair/ scalp oil by Hinu – it smells amazing and I feel like it really helps with hair growth. I usually oil my scalp and hair before washing and let it set overnight or for a few hours. Also once a month I use Henna – I use it in medium brown it gives me a darker brown and nourishes my hair. My Moroccan grandmother used henna once a month and her hair was super long. I sleep with a bread and a silk bonnet to prevent breakage.
On Make-up
I don’t use make up every day. Some days I just use a moisturizer and sunscreen. If I feel like it I like a blush – my favorite is ADDICTION TOKYO tint in purple and pink and I mix them and use it on my cheeks and lips. I love a dark red lipstick – I love Charlotte Tilbury cinematic red. For my eyes I love to use a Moroccan charcoal eyeliner.
On Health and Wellness
I’ve been eating plant based diet for 6 years now, I’ve been a vegetarian since I was 12. I believe in not supporting the mass production of meat and dairy – you will become happier and so will the plants. I also practice transcendental meditation for nearly 4 years now, it’s a sound based mediation that I do 2x a day for 20 minutes and it’s completely transformed my life into a much peaceful, calmer, and happier version of life I didn’t know could exist before. Since I was born I’ve had sleeping problems, and since I’ve been meditating sleep became such a beautiful space in my life I never knew that would have been possible. I live to practice yoga too, it’s super natural to me I’ve been doing it since I’m 9 years old. I supplement mainly in the winter. I love to drink herbal teas for any benefits I need.
On Rituals
I do daily stretching or I try to do it daily, because I’m hyper mobile. I need to stretch at the beginning and end of the day.
On Fragrance
I love scents, it somehow feels like an armor of scents to protect me when I step out of the house. Aesop always has my hearts with perfumes and also their Deodorant. Sometimes I only wear the deodorant as the scent is strong enough. I like to use essential oils too, I use the Primavera oils , they are organic and smell so good. My obsession at the moment is patchouli and cedar wood, I usually have them in my bag and put some drops on my wrist doing the day when I feel low. I also love the Le Labo perfumes, and Serge Lutens has incredible scents especially their Nuit de Cellophane I used to be obsessed with. I love floral and woody smells, something between fresh and dead flowers , rain and a moulded tree and magic. My dream would be to create my own scent one day.
