I’d like to say that my beauty philosophy starts from the inside with what I consume, but that would be a lie. Residing mainly in Paris means drinking red wine on a daily basis instead of exercising, and eating take-aways more often than clean cooking. I do try to wear as little makeup as possible, drink loads of water, and use the best possible products.
What does Beauty mean to you?
On Skincare
“Soft Obsession Body Oil” from the Danish brand Amazing Space is hands down the most delicious thing I own. I use it for body, face, and even split hair ends. In the wintertime, I’d apply a thick layer of SVR Fast Repair Cream, which I guess is a classic pharmacy cream. It feels protective and hydrating all in one. Another favourite product which is make-up and cream in one, is Amazing Space Precious Premium Pearl. One’s skin becomes pearl-like with an even sparkle.
In Rosemarie's File
‘The notes remind me of something ancient and less artificial.’
‘I try to use minimal make-up, swearing by brands such as RMS Beauty for their light skin cover.’
‘I wear minimal makeup, but always have the Mac Lip Pencil in shade stripdown in my bag.’
‘From the Danish beauty brand Rudolp Care, making the skin radiant and glowing, gives the best natural shine.’
‘I use as a special night cream a couple of times a week. Like all their products it smells incredible. It is like butter on the skin and works as a nourishing boost.’
On Haircare
As my hair is very colored, I use intensive hair masks from Olaplex at least once a week.
On Make-up
I try to use minimal make-up, swearing by brands such as RMS Beauty for their light skin cover, and the Mac Lip Pencil in shade stripdown.
On Health and Wellness
I try to start the day with a morning smoothie packed with vitamins, spirulina and an oil infusion with avocado, argan & pomegranate from Amazing Space.
On Rituals
I love running in nature, which is scarce in Paris, so therefore I mostly do yoga at the moment. I try to sleep as much as I can.
On Fragrance
I love the more old-school fragrances which smell like leather, tabacco, musk, or Sandalwood. They remind me of something ancient and less artificial. I currently use Creed (Royal Oud) and Ortigia (Zagara) which are both heavy, complex smells and surely not for everyone. Perhaps that is their magic.
Your Beauty Secrets..
I think sex is highly underestimated as a beauty boost.

When in Copenhagen, Denmark – Cim Mahony (Studio Mahony) and Mike Nielsen (Mugshot) are true hair magicians. In Paris Christophe Pastel is simply the best.
