I guess I’m a ‘natural’ beauty believer. While I agree with maintenance when it comes to looking after your skin I love seeing women with minimal make up on their faces (2024 Pamela Anderson) but I also believe in doing whatever makes you feel confident in your own skin – as long as we’re doing it to honour ourselves. I wholeheartedly believe in aging gracefully, my mother has been such a beautiful role model for me when it comes to this philosophy.
What does Beauty mean to you?
On Skincare
I cleanse before & end of day, cleansing gives you a fresh face for the day and a nice way to unwind too. In the morning I love to keep it simple with moisturiser & sunscreen. I use Emma Lewisham’s Skin Reset most mornings too. In the evening I use either a Emma Lewisham, Maryse, or Tatcha moisturiser, Drunk Elephant Vit C, and Mara Retinol. Having just moved to London, I knew I had to try this beautiful British brand Skin Cycles. I’ve become addicted to this eye cream which helps with any extra puffiness and darkness that shoes around my eyes – signs of exhaustion that come far too easily with motherhood.
In Paris's File
‘I don’t go anywhere without it. So nourishing, I use it on my lips and eyelids.’
‘Before a special event, I love bathing my sin in 111skin’s rose gold mask. It gives a little glow-up before applying any makeup.’
‘In awe of this brand and the cult following they’ve created in the southern hemisphere. I adore their moisturisers and especially the ‘Skin Reset’ product for my pigmentation that came about through pregnancy.’
On Haircare
I use Sans Nourishing Hair Wash. I adore what founder Lucy Vincent has created at Sans.
I also discovered Fabuloso Cool Brown Colour Boosting Treatment recently, I swear by it. It takes the red colouring out of my hair, especially after the warmer months when the sun seems to tint my hair.
On Make-up
During the day I opt for a light cover-up. From day to night I use RMS lip2cheek in ‘Spell’ the dream shade for my lips and eyelids, for a natural yet polished feel. For more coverage in the evening with a dewy finish I use ILIA Super Serum Skin Tint. I never bother with mascara because it always seems to be all over my face when I look in the mirror so I use the MAC Half Lash Curler. I recently discovered the ‘half’ size lash curler, it gives the cutest fan-like curl to my lashes and holds them in place.
On Health and Wellness
I keep close track of my iron & zinc levels through my naturopath, I always find they affect my immunity and energy levels when they’re down. It’s so common in women and so many of us don’t realise. Interclinical Laboratories is my go-to brand. Clover Ferments, an old friend started this company based out of Wanaka, New Zealand. They produce gut-nourishing tonics made from fermented vegetables. I rely on these for my probiotic dose for both myself & my daughter.
On Rituals
I see an osteopath every couple of weeks for my neck and lower back. It’s a nice way of balancing out your nervous system too, feels like a little reset every time. Acupuncture is also an effective treatment for me.
On Fragrance
Abel is an incredible natural perfume (and New Zealand made) . I’ve been trying to opt for products with less ‘fragrance’ in the ingredients list. I’ve become more aware of the ingredient ‘fragrance’ that’s put in so many of the products we use, and how it can be detrimental to our endocrine system.

In London, I love seeing Alice Henshaw at Harley Street Injectables – amazing facials and treatments.
In Auckland, NZ. – Moxi Laser at Clinic1. This treatment improved the pigmentation under my eyes. Recovery time was longer than I anticipated, but it was worth it.
