My belief is that beauty comes from within. It is the energy that we expose to ourselves and out into the world. Feeling good and nurturing ourselves shines through and will radiate from inside out.

On Skincare
I try to keep it simple. I wash my face with cold water in the morning and before bed. In the morning, I’ll apply a vitamin face oil from Woods and do a gua sha treatment. I keep my gua sha in the fridge so it stays cold. My skin loves oily & fatty creams – most days, I apply Monestary Gold Oil & finish with their Universal Balm. Or I’ll do a Rose Beauty Butter from Amazing Space. If my skin is feeling red I’ll apply Odacite blue balm to end with, as it has a soothing touch from chamomile. I also love a good fat face scrub; at the moment I’m loving the açai scrub from Rudolph Care. My skin is quite sensitive and blushes easily, so I try to stay away from anything active like acids or vitamin C. At night, I cleanse my skin with Dam Dam silk rice cleansing oil if I’ve worn makeup.
On Makeup
I like a moist skin look, so I usually prefer only using a cover-up stick for any cover-ups, a little contour to elevate my cheek bones and then I like a good lip liner or dark lipstick if I’m going out. I prefer brown shades. My go-to brands are Mac, Byredo and Saie, I love their shades. Sometimes, I play with a wet eyeliner – black or warm brown.
On Haircare
Again, a simple gal – I usually wash my hair once a week (depending on work of course). Besides that, I use Oribe conditioner every time I shower or their hair mask. I always use a Maison Pearson brush, and I’ll apply some oil or cream to keep my baby hair intact.
On Health and Wellness
I follow my dad’s wellness advice – sleep, drink water, get some fresh air and look up into the sky.
I think sleep is so important, and I always prioritise it. Besides that, I practice yoga, meditate and do breathwork on a daily basis. It doesn’t have to be for long if the time isn’t there, but beginning my day with tuning in, connecting to my breath and moving my body definitely helps my well being.
On Fragrance
For perfume I use Byredo – Gypsy Water and Dam Dam Abundance perfume oil. I’m quite sensitive to smells so I prefer something subtle. Besides that, I love essential oils. Tea tree oil gives me an instant feeling of relaxation and wellness, and I love lavender for calming.
One beauty tip that you absolutely swear by?
Let your body lead you – our mind & body are connected and will most likely tell us what it needs. I don’t believe in restrictions, but in balance. I eat what I crave and do what I feel like. I make sure to move my body but also to rest. Our skin talks as well, so I try to track how I’m doing, where I am in my cycle or how I’m eating – my skin will always show if I’m out of balance (which is ok – life can be a rollercoaster, right?)
I view it as a constant conversation, and as in all aspects of life, it’s important to listen.

In Copenhagen – I recommend Arakai and Amazing Space for facial and body treatments. Arakai has a lovely practice space as well (yoga, pilates, sound baths), and Amazing Space has a great spa (my skin loves the steam bath).
