What does beauty mean to you?

It’s about simplicity, enhancing your natural features, and embracing authenticity, being authentic and comfortable in your own skin. We would love to hear more about your skincare routine (AM and PM) – including the products you use / love and why? Trusted old favourites are always wonderful to hear about, the products you always return to. After following Dr Amir M. Karam for a while, I finally decided to start his Trifecta skincare routine. I’m two months in, and I can see and feel a noticeable difference in my skin. The routine is simple and incredibly effective, built around just three products that include all the key active ingredients: Vitamin C, Retinol, and Peptides. I use them consistently every morning and evening. What I love most is that I can use it around my eyes too — no need for a separate eye cream!
And sometimes I like to give my skin a little extra hydration, so I use “Enrich”. It also has anti-ageing actives and gives my skin a beautiful, healthy glow. And I can’t get enough of Monastery! My favourites — Hydrating Floral Essence, Gold Oil, Rose Cleansing Oil, and Flora Cream — are little moments of joy. The scents are so soothing and uplifting, especially after a long day or shoot. I also use Monastery Skincare at work, giving the models face massages in the mornings with the mushroom guasha — it’s become a little ritual.

In Manu Kopp's Cabinet

“My skin feels clearer and softer, and it instantly helps me relax. I often even fall asleep while using it. I truly believe it rejuvenates the skin.”

“It’s deeply nourishing. Some oils aren’t nourishing well enough in winter, but this one truly does! It has a very rich texture!”

“I first experienced this brush during a facial, and it was incredible. It gives a soft glow and helps reduce water-related puffiness.”

On Makeup

I use Hypnose Lancome Mascara as it’s easy to add layers. I can use it more naturally or create a more intense look. I also like the Victoria Beckham Concealer Pen with TFC8. I like the Glossier Boy Brow for giving the perfect eyebrow structure without making them too strong. I use the Chanel Baume Essentielle – I’ve collected all the shades – it’s giving the ultimate natural glow, I’m loving it! Also, the Victoria Beckham Posh Balm – glacé feels hydrating like a balm, shiny like a gloss, and the wet finish sticks around.

On Haircare

I keep my hair routine very simple, I swear by Sandor’s Shampoo & Conditioner. My friend Sabrina Szinay, is the founder and it’s my absolute favourite. I could literally bathe in that scent. When traveling I simplify with Rowse’s Shampoo Bar. I stick to lightweight formulas and always choose products carefully, with no chemical additives.

On Health and Wellness

I work out at least 3 times a week, focusing on high intensity sessions at Barry’s. If I have extra time, I will add in a Lagree Session. I add Anima Mundi Collagen Super Fruit Bliss to my coffee every morning, and Yin Power/Sun Potion. I drink plenty of water. I do at least once a month either a Jetpeel or Hydrafacial very religiously. I also love Vitamin IV’s.

Please list your top 6 beauty products and why you absolutely love them - these are the products you can’t live without.

– LED Mask by Monastery – Monastery ATTAR – Hydrating Floral Essence MonasteryXCOPPOLA – A.OK Botanical Body Oil – Cecily Braden Lymphatic Brush – Sandelwood BestSkinEver Cleanser Moisturizer – Victoria Beckham Concealer Pen with TFC8

On Fragrance

I don’t use perfumes because I get overstimulated by scents really quickly. I stick to essential oils instead, which create a natural scent of their own. I’m often asked what scent I’m wearing, but I don’t know how to answer, since it’s usually just a blend of my face oils, creams, and shampoo.

Do you have one beauty tip that you absolutely swear by?

Daily use of the LED Mask by Monastery, I bring it everywhere I travel!

Manu's Directory

I see Dr.Karen in London for the Neogen Treatment and Polynucleotides – if work doesn’t take me to London, I’ll travel from Paris to London just to see her – an in-&-out trip on the same day. If I’m lucky enough and Athena the founder of Monastery is in New York, I‘ll go and see her for my favourite facial treatment at the Spa of The Hotel Chelsea. In Paris, for facials I see Hello Glow Paris/Mari – Jetpeel. For Hydrafacial’s, Dr.Rajao. Melinda Bogner is a luxury facialist – her treatments feel spiritual, it’s like a mini holiday for mind and soul. And also, Frenchtouchmontaigne.
