What does beauty mean to you?

‘Less is more! I’ve always taken a holistic approach and feel that a simple beauty routine works best for me.’

On Skincare

My morning and night routines are pretty much the same, except for sunscreen, which I reapply midway through the day as well.

Though I don’t wash my face in the mornings, I simply apply my serum and moisturizer followed by my sunscreen. I double cleanse most nights, with the Tata Harper oil and revitalizing cleanser, then follow up with the Fatigue Fix Solution Eclat de Mamiel serum that I’m OBSESSED WITH. I then apply the Goop moisturizer. If my skin is tweaking I’ll use the Avene repair cream.

On Makeup

My makeup routine doesn’t really change… I just intensify the look a little if I’m going out. I start with a fresh clean face, then I use my Cle de Peau concealer wherever I’m looking tired or have a blemish. Then I’ll use my Westman Atelier contour stick in the color biscuit to bring out my cheekbones. Followed by the Goop kiss and cheek balm on the bridge of my nose and a little on my cheeks and then I finish with the Chanel Intemporelle rouge velvet lipstick, which is hands down my favorite color. I don’t leave the house without it! If I’m going out I’ll throw on a little hourglass mascara.

On Haircare

I love Roz hair and I freaking love Crown Affair. I stan their products. I use the Crown Affair leave-in conditioner after every wash, it leaves my hair silky and smooth. I also love their dry shampoo.

On Health and Wellness

Less is more! I take liposomal vitamin C, wellness formula, magnesium citrate to keep me regular, shilajit for added immunity benefits and grass-fed beef desiccated liver. I eat what I’m craving, I don’t ever shame myself when I indulge. I grew up in a European household and the motto was always everything in moderation. I do my best to avoid seed oils and processed foods. They make me feel like crap.

I really think quality of life is essential to your health, if you’re miserable on whatever diet or lifestyle you are trying to attain, stop it as it’s probably worse for you than just splurging on a burger if that’s what you’re feeling for!

The week before I get my period I am ravenous and put on probably 5-8 lbs. I eat whatever I’m craving (within reason, I do not eat candy or fast food), but I will go to Baccio di latte and get myself an ice cream. Or wait in line at proof for a croissant and not feel bad about it. Happiness should be the priority always! Do what feels good for you!

On Rituals

I do Pilates as often as I’m able. It makes me feel strong and happy, I love hiking with my dog. I would have a massage every day if I could. I really love going to the Olympic spa and soaking and using the saunas. I always feel rested and rejuvenated after a day of leisure.

On Fragrance

Hermes basil scent – the only scent I’ve ever loved enough to want to wear every day.
