What does Beauty mean to you?

In my job, I love to see the beauty in every face and try to make people see what I see. The most important thing is the quality of the skin – not wrinkles or anything else.

Also, I believe that you have to let your skin do its job, meaning the less you put on your face, the better your skin will be in the end.

On Skincare

My basic routine is my breakfast! I do the France Guillain method – Miam ô fruits which is about eating 85 % of the daily nutrients the body needs. I’ve been doing it for the last 7 years, and my skin has improved, my weight has stayed the same (I’m not yoyo-ing anymore), and I am also less sick. This gives my skin what it needs.

Then I take collagen – from eggshells. I use natural oil on my skin – I love to put hydrolat (flower water) before bed like geranium, orange blossom, and witch hazel.

On Haircare

I only use a solid shampoo. Then I leave it natural and when dry I spray memory mist from my hairdresser Adrien Coelho, from Très confidentiel salon in Palais Royal, Paris.

On Make-up

I only put Anastasia gel in my eyebrows with some pencil. Sometimes I will use Chantecaille lipstick which gives some light on a bad day (and the smell…).

At night I love red lipstick. In winter I love the classic Chanel one or the Hermes. In summer, I use the Hermes or a YSL fushia which gives a very sexy look.

I used to love Smokey Eyes and I used Nars black and navy palette, but for now, I am more into lips.

On Health and Wellness

I think beauty is also a question of well-being. To feel confident, I have to feel okay with myself.

I have been doing the French Guillain method for 7 years, using Miam ô fruits and having cold baths. It gives me a base. I do pilates twice a week, and every 3 /4 weeks, I do lymphatic drainage on my legs, and I go for a Kobido for my face.

I also do collagène (the eggshell one).

On Rituals

If I dont go to pilates, I’ll do some stretching and gym when I wake up. I like to do it in silence, when everyone is still sleeping.

It’s like being a bit in meditation. It’s a time with myself.

Also, I believe that doing face yoga every day, and massaging oil into your face is a good workout for your face muscles.

On Fragrance

I have used the same perfume for a long time, Musc Ravager from Frederic Malle. I love it! I don’t use it when working (doing facials). I can’t put anything on my hands when I massage, either. I like to feel natural without anything on my skin when I give a massage. So, I don’t do manicures because I don’t want products from my hands to touch the skin.

I love the oil Formentera. The smell is divine. I only use it in summer when I go out, it gives a sexy vibe. I love the Millepertuis macérât from the apothecary near my work after the beach. The smell is particular but I love it.

Your Beauty Secrets..

I don’t believe so much in products alone, but I believe in the power of hands and self-loving.

The other thing I do twice a year as a little ceremony is to make a scrub half coffee grind and half olive oil and put it all over myself in the shower. Scrub it and rinse. Your skin is so nice after it with even a nice colour!

I used to swim a lot so to protect my hair I will put Calophylle oil as a mask, to be a filter for the chlorine.

What is always in your handbag?

A Hermes lipstick in case a dinner comes up, adding extra chicness.
