My approach to beauty is skin! and a good lip color will go a long way. Not just what I put on my skin but what I put into my body and being consistent.
What does Beauty mean to you?
On Skincare
In the morning I use La Roche Posay Toleraine Cleanser, followed by icing my face with an ice cube, then Paulas Choice Toner, Mandelic serum from Sofie Pavitt (the best), Weleda lotion, suncream and Pai The Impossible Glow drops. At night I use the same cleanser and toner but face reality acne med and Weleda cream and a spot treatment, Starface or Hemexodine depending on what’s best. As far as tools I love my gua sha, dry brush and my red light mask that I use at night.
In Harmony's File
‘This is that give me a little glow even in the dead of winter.’
‘This lip oil is subtle but hydrating.’
‘Because I love blush.’
‘A matte lipstick can make you feel the most put together even when you’re not.’
‘This serum is great for texture and overall skin complexion.’
On Haircare
I swear by act + acre detox oil and their exfoliator. I had an irritated scalp for years until finding them. I do that once or twice a week and a Carol’s Daughter restoring hair mask once a week as well. Then I use the Shea Moisture extra moisture shampoo and Shea Moisture intensive hydration conditioner. I love my scalp massager to get the shampoo into my scalp and then once out of the shower I dry my hair with a microfibre towel and use Kristin Ess curl leave in cream and Shea Moisture curl enhancing smoothie. If I use a blow dryer I use a diffuser to avoid frizz.
On Make-up
My everyday makeup routine, I try to keep pretty simple.
I use glossier perfecting skin tint in G8 and Nars Medium 2 Ginger concealer. I recently learned that if you apply your concealer and leave it before blending for a couple minutes it gives you better coverage. I use NYX brow gel to brush up my eyebrows and glossier cloud paint in either spark or beam. I use beam for everyday, and spark for going out.
For lips I use Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk medium combo or Dior lip glow in 001 or 012. Followed by Charlotte Tilbury setting spray. I also love using my 19/99 beauty pencil in brown as a lip liner and in my waterline or sometimes a shimmery blue from NYX.
On Rituals
I try to stretch every morning and have been incorporating exercises from Louise Hay’s Heal your life to start my day.
On Fragrance
I used to be a big fan of oils as my skin is quite sensitive, amber or oud is classic. Recently I really like Eau Duelle Diptyque perfume or the Byredo Mojave ghost hair perfume.
What is always in your handbag?
My Dior lip glow and Bag Balm salve for my hands are always a must.
