To be honest I have never done much to my skin. Being Asian helps me get through life without struggling with my skin. However, applying a huge amount of cream and serums always helps. Our skin goes through a lot and it’s fine, it’s actually beautiful. Each fine line has a story.
Since a young age, I’ve always had dark/puffy/circled eyes. I never really liked this part of me, but slowly I’m learning how to accept it (with thanks to the fashion industry) because people like my eyes. Part of my job is to wear makeup all the time, and as I used to party a lot and wasn’t sleeping properly, I decided during the past few years I want clean and healthy skin, and to use some natural and organic beauty products. I also now make sure to drink endless amounts of water.
Since I am a mum though, everything is hectic but I LOVE IT!
That’s why I established this little routine of mine. It’s one of the only moments I have for myself (not every day but still) – I wash my face with cold water, I apply my Vitamin C Complex Serum by Naturium, then I apply Eye Contour Serum by Rowse, and after that I will massage with this incredible Virgin Marula Facial Oil by Drunk Elephant, I then use my L42 Nourishing face cream by Typology and my favorite UV Protective Cream by Clé de Peau. When I feel dead inside and I want to make myself feel better I’ll use some concealer, tinted cream or serum (the Tinted Face Serum by Typology).
At night, I’ll do a Typology Brightening Face Scrub, that I clean off under the shower with some Advanced Night Cleansing Gelée by Estée Lauder. After that, I’ll wash my hair with Olaplex. Then apply the Hydration Serum by Rowse and the Organic Rosehip Oil by Rowse. I massage my beautiful and strong body which went through two crazy intense births with some TALM oil (a mummy essential). Et voilà! Go to sleep and repeat.
