Beauty is often associated with external appearances, but true beauty comes from the inside. I find accepting yourself as you are is what truly defines beauty. It’s important to understand that beauty is not just about having a pretty face, but rather about being confident and comfortable in your own skin. Insecurities about your own appearance comes from within you. Taking care of your skin using natural ingredients and maintaining a healthy diet are essential for both your physical and mental well-being. Regular exercise like running and stretching is important to keep me feeling good and happy. As well as surrounding myself with love, my friends and maintaining a good balance in life. It’s important to have a good work-life balance, and not to take life too seriously.
What does Beauty mean to you?
On Skincare
In the morning I wash my face with La Roche Posay – Crème lavante (effaclar H) smoothing cleansing cream, or Seba med cleansing foam. If I have a job that morning I’ll put my face in a bucket of ice cubes or use my guasha if I don’t have much time. I use sun protection every morning, Beauty of Joseon Sunscreen and a moisturiser ( I love Weleda Skinfood Light, Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré and La Roche Posay Cicaplast B5+)
I believe less is more. There are a few days when I feel like doing nothing with my skin.
For my night routine, I wash my face with Paula’s choice and Bioderma micellar water. I use CeraVe Resurfacing Retinol Serum a few times a week and a moisturiser if my skin feels tight and dry. Before the shower, I like to use my body brush. That feels very nice and it’s super good for blood circulation.
When I’m in the shower I use a hair shampoo and conditioner from Davines. On special occasion, I like to use my body scrub. I love Sea salt scrub by davines. After the shower, I use a body lotion.
Other skincare products i use and love – The Ordinary Niacinamide 10%, Tea tree oil, Zinc spray La Roche Posay, Laneige lip mask, La biostetique age3 complex instant lifting hydrogel eye patch, and the Claudalie Vinergetic C+ Instant Detox Maske.
In Céline's File
“I love this foundation!’
‘I actually like using lip gloss but it usually dries out my lips. The lip mask from La Neige keeps my lips soft and looks like a lip gloss.’
‘I love smokey eyes when I go out and this palette is just perfect for that.’
‘The evebrow pencil is one of my favorite products in general and the Chanel one is just perfect. I also use it on my lips and eves sometimes or if I have a pimple I make a little mole out of it.’
‘A little on the nose, cheeks and lips and it looks like you have used a cherry.’
On Haircare
I have really fine and thin hair so mostly I wear my hair in a tight ponytail but that’s really bad for my hair and my scalp so I like to use hair products from Davines because they really help with dry and damaged hair and they have really natural ingredients. I use a shampoo, a conditioner and if I decide to wear my hair open I put a hair oil, heat spray and a hair mousse in my hair. Then I blow dry my hair and I roll them up in hair curlers. It gives my hair a nice volume even with shorter hair.
On Make-up
When my skin is prepped the first thing I do is to curl my lashes. Then I use the Chanel Vitalumière foundation wich I love and a Creme concealer. Then a powder to keep it on place, some blush (I use lipstick) really up on my nose (the part between my eyes) and on my cheeks. That gives you a really natural summer look. Sometimes I sharpen my eyebrows with an eyebrow pencil.
To finish my makeup look I either put some brownish lip liner and mix it with a lip balm, black honey by Clinique or just lipgloss.
For my evening makeup look, the base is basically the same I just add some brown on my eyelid and black on my waterline and then I curl my lashes and put a little bit Vaseline on my lashes and they stay up for the whole night without using mascara.
On Health and Wellness
I enjoy everyday routines and believe they help me to stay focused and balanced in life.
Yoga, Pilates, meditation and long walks are the best activities for my health.
I also love spending time in saunas, taking deep breathing exercises and having massages for relaxation.
I recently started taking lots of vitamin C and cold showers to prevent colds and adding turmeric to my meals because it has an anti-inflammatory effect.
Embracing these practices in my health and wellness philosophy has allowed me to prioritize my physical and mental well being.
On Rituals
It’s very important for me to get my 8 hours of sleep every day.
Then the first thing I do when I wake up is I drink water. I make my bed and open the windows and breathe in the fresh air.
I always try to take the stairs instead of the escalator or the lift.
I like reading books by Paolo Cohelo.
On Fragrance
I used a perfume a few years ago and one of my best friends pointed out that it didn’t suit me and gave me an eau de cologne. Since then I have only used this one. It has a light lemon scent and smells very fresh.
Your Beauty Secrets..
One of my favorite beauty tips is hugs and cuddles. And I think it’s important to consciously hug more with your loved ones.
What is always in your handbag?

‘I love natural red lips during the day, and in the evening I put this on top and have dark red lips.’
