Dries Van Noten, always paving the way with quirky yet perfectly mixed colours, fabrics, textures and combinations has brought this skill set to the world of fragrance. The Dries perfumes are bold choices of unusual pairings that often work so majestically, and ignite something more than the usual notes we are used to. This Crazy Basil perfume, is just so good. Hailing from Budapest, this beauty brand is taking us back to the rituals and care of slow beauty through its healing properties and rich quality ingredients and formulas. This Queen of Hungary mist is the one. It is everything you want in a facial mist; hydrating, fresh, and calming, and truly feels like a treatment in a bottle. Gently fragranced with neroli and rose, this can be used daily as a post-cleanse toner and to prep skin pre-makeup. Spritz frequently throughout the day whenever the skin feels dry and needs a refreshing pick-me-up, it’s truly the best.
Byredo, Lipstick Matte – Attached, £50
These matte Lipsticks, developed by our favourite Lucia Pica, are dynamic new formulas enriched with Rose Flower Extract, providing optimal lip care with proper hydration and comfort, which for a matte look is pretty revolutionary. The colours are all buildable depending on how bold, or subtle you feel like going. I love to take Lucia’s lead and apply a small amount to the center of my lips and use my fingers to dab the colour and soften it, blurring the pigment into my lips. Of course, if you want a richer colour, apply full coverage normally. This colour range consists of 10 compelling shades we have all been dreaming of – lots of brown notes, and cool tones. I’m particularly feeling shade ‘Attached’, a perfect rosewood brown, day or night.

Renowned makeup artist Gucci Westman’s beauty brand, Westman Atelier, has taken its rightful place at the forefront of the makeup industry. Her products are in every way, amazing, and these Skindrops offer the perfect tint for the ‘no make-up, make-up’ look, Gucci does so well. Due to the high-quality skincare ingredients, this tint offers beautiful hydration alongside this lightweight, glowy (but quite sheer) coverage. The texture feels great on the skin, it has an oily consistency that is ultra smooth to apply, offering a luminous look, that won’t set in any fine lines. This product is particularly great on normal skin that is not too dehydrated giving a beautiful dewy-glowy finish. If you prefer a heavier coverage, this is definitely on the light side, but does act as a beautiful glowy primer if you feel to layer up.
Skin Ceuticals, Triple Lipid Restore cream, £150
This is the holy grail of moisturisers. I will honestly try and love pretty much anything from SkinCeuticals. For me, this is as premium as skincare gets. It’s science-backed and delivers results. I remember when a facialist first applied this cream to my face years ago and I immediately had to have it. It is rich, and luxurious but not in any way greasy or oily. Consisting of triple lipid fats it penetrates deep into the epidermis offering collagen boosting bounce.
Kindred Black , hot blooded pulse point oil ,£130
Kindred Black if you haven’t seen them, are some of the prettiest objects to arrive in the beauty industry. With a focus on slow beauty, each product takes you back to another world of true care and rituals, with formulas reminiscent of healing potions. This pulse point oil is a fragrant body oil with top notes of Moroccan rose, paired with jojoba, argan, and sandalwood to create a sensual, rich, and calming body oil. A wonderful mix of a perfume oil and a skin treatment.
Loewe Tomato Leaves Large Soap Bar, £47
The idea of a tomato soap isn’t one I would usually want to lather my body with, but opening this box the scent is completely addictive – maybe this is the MSG of smell? Fresh, herby, sexy, warm, and abundantly fragrant. This has changed my view on body wash versus the traditional soap bar – It feels old school and ritualistic, and hanging on a rope it’s easy to keep in the shower without leaving a leftover soapy mess. Buy this for someone you truly love, (maybe yourself.)
