L’Oreal Cushion Foundation.
If you’re not familiar with the whole cushion foundation thing, the concept is simple; a liquid foundation in a compact. And it’s brilliant, because when you’re out, and it’s 2AM, and your skin legitimately looks like shit, your foundation fits into your clutch and you can reapply. Hello, boys!
And just like anything great on the luxury end, it will eventually hit the high street and the same applies here because cushion compacts are now available at your local drug store (applause). First on our Before Pay Day list? L’Oréal Nude Magique Cushion.
It didn’t disappoint, nice light coverage that’s natural looking with just the right amount of dew. It feels completely weightless; this is your guy for when you want to look minimal. You can also layer and build up to a fuller coverage, without things getting cakey. The main outtake? Fresh faced.
On the downside, because it’s dewy, it’s not the longest wearing, so you do need to reapply throughout the day, so this definitely isn’t your go-to if you’re on the oily side.
To be honest, it’s a bit disappointing that this product isn’t designed to be refillable, so you’re paying for the packaging every time your repurchase the product, but at around $20, we can live with that.
All in all a good one to have in your kit, highly recommend. Get it here.
