Aside from sharing a first name with our favourite character from The O.C., Summer Miller is on our dream girl list for a variety of reasons. The blonde-haired beauty spends her days styling and consigning for very important clients at Isabel Marant’s Soho boutique, so clearly knows how to throw together a lewk. As an online rep for Glossier, she’s also sufficiently qualified when it comes to beauty and working hard for that dewy skin.

Her ritual didn’t come about by accident, either. She’s been around the block, talking to dermatologists and trialling different products along the way. Judging by the curation of products below, she’s emerged triumphant. Thanks for indulging our voyeuristic tendencies, Summer!

Chanel Rouge Allure Luminous Intense Lip Colour in Passion

This is my red lip. I got in the airport in Honolulu last year on my birthday. It has become my go-to red lip since then. When I go out, I do a lip  never an eye makeup look. I apply this one in sort of a messy way. I never line my lips. I want it to look like I just made out with someone.”

Yves Saint Laurent Touché Eclat in Shade 3

“What a fun thing! I received my Touché Eclat as a gift and I didn’t touch it for a week, as I didn’t know what to do with it. I don’t use any highlighter really, and I don’t brighten under my eyes. I love dark circles. I love anything real and sexy. Anyway, I started applying it on the top of my cheekbones and on these stubborn dark spots I have. It’s a tiny bit darker than my natural skin color, so I think it helps make me look more awake and sun-kissed. Or whatever. I am addicted to it… It’s fun to apply.”

Glossier Priming Moisturizer Rich

“I’ve been using Glossier for years — since they launched Balm Dot Com. I’m an online rep and I’ve become a friend of the brand. Priming Moisturizer Rich is their best product to date, in my opinion. It feels and acts like a $200 cream. Reminds me of La Mer or Natura Bissé. I use it at night before my retinol and in the morning before makeup and SPF. My dermatologist has told me that my skin isn’t always balanced — this cream has helped my skin regulate its moisture content, and helps it to stay happy. Everyone needs a rich cream, and this is the cream that we all can afford. And it works, too!”

By Terry Cellularose Micellar Water Cleanser

This is the product that has changed my skin the most, and it’s just a toner. My friend Emma told me how it completely calmed her hormonal areas down. I didn’t even know that a toner could do that! I spray rose water on my face after cleansing, and then I apply this toner morning and night with a cotton pad. My skin drinks it right up.”

Camille Cosmeceuticals Squalane Moisture Seal

“I get this facial oil from TriBeCa MedSpa. I’ve always used a facial oil, but I also deal with hormonal breakouts, so I was unsure if oil was making my problem worse. My aesthetician gave me this one. I only use it in the morning, and the trick is to apply it over, not under, your moisturizer. It creates a perfectly smooth surface for makeup. I find it helps my makeup go on better, especially if I have a few bumps that I’m trying to get rid of. I rub the rest of the oil into my cuticles.”
