Take one look at artist and designer Meghann Stephenson’s Instagram, and we guarantee you’ll wish you stuck with your childhood art classes. The girl can draw, and has the collaborations to prove it, having worked with the likes of Man Repeller, Teen Vogue, and Lenny Letter, among other notable titles. She’s also the co-founder of and designer for Vacation NYC, a fashion label dedicated to creating luxury modern day essentials (which would explain all her dreamy outfit selfies). Oh, and did we mention she owns all the beauty products we’ve ever wanted?

It comes as no surprise that the New York-based designer has her priorities right when it comes to beauty, with things like avoiding skin irritants, remembering SPF, and keeping her skin calm all at the top of her list of concerns. If her glow is anything to go by, she has our undivided attention. You’ll want to take notes.

Le Labo Santal 33

One

This scent is something I noticed walking around New York for years. It drove me nuts – I could never find out what it was, and every time I got a whiff, I had to restrain myself from asking everyone on the block what perfume they were wearing. Luckily, one day I walked by a Le Labo store and noticed that familiar smell; clean, masculine sandalwood. My sweet boyfriend surprised me with my first bottle, and now I’m hooked.”

Laura Mercier Caviar Stick

Two

“I’ve worn a cat eye almost every day since I was 16, but lately I’ve been wanting something a little more subtle. I don’t love the look or wear of powder make-up, so this cream stick is amazing. I draw a bit along my upper and lower lash line, and blend out with a brush. For day, I do a very light layer, just to add some depth to my eyes, but for night I can add more layers along the lash line and waterline to create a soft neutral smoke. The formula is smooth, but heavily pigmented and stays put.”

NuFACE

Three

“I know skincare is a long game – I wear SPF daily, take vitamins and supplements, eat well, drink (probably too much) water, and never fall asleep with mascara on. All that is great, but the NuFACE does the heavy lifting and gives immediate results, while also working as an amazing preventative tool.”

Glossier Moisturizing Moon Mask

Four

“My skincare routine revolves around keeping my skin calm, and this mask brings any redness down and plumps my skin before a night out. If I have an event, I’ll leave the mask on while my hair air-dries, but once a week I do a pretty intensive at-home facial. I start by steaming with my Dr. Dennis Gross mini steamer, do some light extractions, then a clay mask, and finally the Glossier Moisturizing Moon Mask to calm everything down.”

Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream

Five

“Growing up, I was lucky enough to have mostly problem-free skin. However, as I got older and moved to New York, my skin became dry, sensitive, and rosacea-prone. To keep my skin healthy and calm, I do my best to avoid any kind of irritant, fragrance, and even most essential oils, which narrows down the options from slim to none. Drunk Elephant’s line was the best find, and their Lala Retro Whipped Cream has become the one product I can’t do without. Its whipped blend of six different oils is seriously hydrating, and gives the glow that oil does without being too heavy or slow to absorb. It also wears perfectly under make-up.”
