Our new Editorial Assistant/lil’ angel, Betsy Greaves has had many notable effects on the office: her skin has brought on a degree of unbridled skin envy usually reserved for Victoria’s Secret models, the beauty cupboard has never known such organisation, our approach to tanning has been called into question (catching shade is way cooler than catching rays, duh former us), and we’ve found a shiny new beauty cabinet to fan out over.

If you’ve ever peeped her Instagram feed, chances are you’re just *dying* to know what her beauty secrets are. In the interest of keeping things simple in 2017, we asked Betsy to list five of her ye ol’ faithful products, and she came back with the goods. Get about it below.

Clarins Lipliner Pencil in 03 Nude Rose

“My fondest beauty memory is the scent of my mother’s lipstick when she would kiss me goodnight before going out when I was younger. So, naturally, I’m a sucker for any lip colour she recommends, and this lip pencil is no exception. It’s the perfect shade of my-lips-but-better, and works best when smoothed over with a clear balm.”

Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk

“My earliest memory of this dry shampoo involves an adolescent me not knowing how to use it, spraying it all over my hair without any prior thought, and leaving the bathroom looking like Betty White. When used correctly, this is one of the best hair products on the market, and I’m sure I’ve seen a can in every bathroom cabinet I’ve ever opened. Its talent of concurrently cleansing and texturising makes it a product I truly couldn’t operate without.”

2

Rodin Olio Lusso Luxury Body Oil

“I haven’t been using this product for long, but it’s already a staple of mine. I warm it up in my hands before pressing it into my neck, décolletage, and even face (!) after cleansing, and the finish is unbelievable. With its dreamlike scent and sleek packaging, there’s nothing about this oil that doesn’t scream luxury.”

3

Les Exclusifs De Chanel Gardénia

“I used to drag my boyfriend into department stores around the world just so I could smell this – that is, until he bought it for me last Christmas. It’s a beautiful scent, fresh and sophisticated. I’ll often douse myself with it when lying about in my underwear, just to reap its luxury. I’m surprised it’s even lasted this long – it’s still half full!”

4

La Roche-Posay Anthelios XL SPF 50+ Ultra Light

“Luckily for me, my boyfriend introduced me to this product, meaning I didn’t have to do any research to find it. To be honest, I wasn’t thrilled with it in the beginning, only because I didn’t like its matte finish. My solution is to apply the sunscreen a few minutes after a hydrating moisturiser, which works every time.”
