The 12 Days Of Christmas: SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic
If you’re like me, and for your sake I hope you’re not, you’re a sucker for anything that appears even vaguely sceince-y. Because even though I hated and routinely failed every science subject at school, I’ve grown up to be very research and proof-driven. So, when a cosmetics brand offers products that look like fancy test tubes and claims to provide “Advanced skincare backed by science,” I’m in.
The physicians, scientists and cosmetic experts at Skinceuticals have pioneered commercial cosmeceuticals since 1994. And though cosmeceuticals sounds like a funny pretend word, it’s a bona fide sub-industry developing products that have both cosmetic and therapeutic or medicinal effects on the skin. It’s basically my beauty-loving science-tragic wet dream.
C E Ferulic is an antioxidant-focused vitamin C-based serum that protects against environmental damage and reduces signs of ageing. It does this by neutralising the damage caused by free radicals and I love any product that fights free radicals because I can pretend there’s a war happening on my face.
I really like C E Ferulic and believe it does what it says on the box – my skin feels firmer, and I think it looks smoother, younger. Buy it for someone who won’t be upset you’re giving them an anti-ageing gift. Or buy it for someone who will be upset you’re giving them an anti-ageing gift. Kidding!
