When our skin takes a turn for the worse, we have a few tricks up our sleeves at the ready: hide behind very, very large shades (fine outdoors, weird indoors unless you’re Anna Wintour), distract from the problem with a red lip or a crazy print and camouflage ground zero with a Sac de Jour-load of concealer.

But when sheer, au naturel-looking skin is in, things get tricky.

Over-compensating with concealer just draws more attention to the problem, but this is even more obvious when the rest of your make-up is barely-there.

To get the best of both worlds, you need to be strategic with your application.

Watch, and learn…
